1-Hydroxy Ethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid (HEDP) is a high-performance organophosphonic acid widely used as a scale inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor, and metal chelating agent in industrial water treatment applications. It provides excellent resistance against calcium carbonate and other mineral scale deposits, even under high-temperature and alkaline conditions. HEDP is highly effective in cooling water systems, boiler water treatment, reverse osmosis (RO) plants, oilfield chemicals, detergents, textile processing, and industrial cleaning formulations. It is supplied as a clear colorless to pale yellow liquid, offering excellent water solubility, thermal stability, and long-term performance.
